丁寧に割られた木材は、さらに薄く、そして繊細に。
木槌と刃物が一体となり、職人の手から新たな形が生まれます。
ただ削るのではなく、木の声を聞きながら進む作業。
犬殿の屋根を支える一枚一枚に、確かな技と想いが込められています。

Carefully split timber is taken to the next stage—finer, thinner, more precise.
The craftsman’s mallet and blade work in harmony, shaping each piece with intention.
It’s not just carving—it’s listening to the voice of the wood.

漆の艶をまとった構造体に、
いよいよ金箔の息吹を添える段階へ。
一片一片、息を止めるように貼り進める手業。
千年の時を超え受け継がれる技と、
現代の構造美が静かに交わる瞬間です。

これはただの装飾ではない。
命を吹き込む、儀式のような所作。

Upon the lacquered surface,
we now breathe life into the form with gold leaf.
Each fragment is applied with silent precision—
a timeless technique passed down through a thousand years,
now merging with the elegance of modern structure.

Harvested from Japanese lacquer trees, each drop is rare and precious.
It takes over a decade to grow a single tree.
That’s why every drop carries the weight of time, care, and craft.
